A daily Italian vocabulary app for iPhone.
Oekelino is a shipped iOS app I built around one daily Italian word, saved word cards, and short review sessions.
Each day starts with a scratch card that reveals the Italian word, article, plural, example sentence, and etymology note. Learners save the cards they want back and browse the collection by category, mastery, and personal favourites.
Review sessions bring words back at the right time, with typing, speaking, and quick-choice answer modes. An on-device assistant offers clues and example sentences when a learner gets stuck.
The current release includes a streak calendar, rewards timeline, vocabulary packs, themes, scratch coats, card finishes, answer effects, friend word sharing, and Premium controls for removing ads.
