User Experience for XR

Designed and developed on a user-centered mixed reality (HoloLens 2) application for viewing and annotating schematics, in industrial contexts. The design was achieved through an iterative workflow, with extensive user research to assess user needs, and to evaluate prototypes. The end result was a significant improvement over the state-of-the-art, with improved user experience and usability. The final design was evaluated against the state-of-the-art, and was found to have a significantly improved user experience, being more fun, intuitive, easier to learn and faster to use.

In my role as a Research Assistant on the MetaSyn project (a project by the ODISSEI Social Data Science, funded by Utrecht University), I've had the opportunity to contribute to the development of the MetaSyn package. My focus has been on enhancing its accessibility, making it more user-friendly for both developers and end-users. I've been involved in making its API more accessible, writing clear documentation, and creating easy to understand guides and tutorials. Additionally, I conducted user tests to uncover user needs and challenges.
