EcOO Tray
A smart tray prototype for sustainable food choices.
For an interactive technology innovation course, my group and I designed, prototyped, and evaluated EcOO Tray: a smart tray concept for helping children make more sustainable food choices.
The high-fidelity prototype used smileys, text displays, and a streak system to give children feedback while they used the tray.
Parents liked the concept, while also asking for a design that worked across more ages and gave more detailed feedback. For me, the project was a good chance to turn HCI theory into a tangible prototype and test where the idea still needed work.
