A beginner chess tutor with adaptive exercises.
For Chess for Chumps, we designed and built an adaptive learning system for people who are new to chess.
We broke the learning material into smaller knowledge components, then built exercises with targeted feedback and hints. The system focused on basic chess concepts, but the structure left room for more advanced instruction later.
